Just Speak, Gospeler!

Have you ever felt the urge to tell someone about something but found it hard to speak? What held you back? Who whispered in your heart, urging you to voice your thoughts? Perhaps there was a message meant to be conveyed, but what was this message, and how did it come to you?  When we see a need, it often signifies a call to action from God, for in Genesis, He has granted us dominion (hence, responsibility) over all creation. Yet, despite this authority, some Christians stagger to address the very issues God has sent us to address. Surprisingly, we may spend quality me talking about how wicked the world is, yet hesitate in doing anything about it.  There exists a relentless bale for souls, a contention between the Kingdom of Light and the realm of darkness. The adversary, cunning and dogged, seeks to impede not just the believers’ growth but also the spread of the Gospel, causing believers to neglect one of their urgent ministries – reconciliation.  The Gospel heralds the good news of Christ, the Kingdom of God, and salvation for all. Picture a room with all the true yearnings of a man, and someone possesses the key but refuses to unlock the door—an ana log y comparable to withholding the Gospel’s truth. Imagine organizing a grand event, yet failing to publicize it, leaving souls unaware of the marvels awaiting them – an eternity with the Emperor of the Universe.  The journey of sharing the Gospel begins by dwelling with God, aligning with His will, and viewing others through the lens of Christ’s love. It encompasses living exemplarily, interceding, and ultimately, proclaiming the Gospel. Most times   13 we want to stop at living exemplarily and interceding but the Gospel must be preached and explained to sinners, your testimony should be shared for people to know and believe in our God.   St. Paul, an ardent proclaimer of the Gospel, declared, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth”. Our adversary’s tactics notwithstanding – to make us shy and to silence our voices, but God has entrusted us with the sacred duty of sharing the Gospel fearlessly.  As stewards of divine reconciliation, let us echo the apostles’ conviction, “We cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:20). Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are guided in word and deed, and compelled by a fire within our souls to be Chrisan witnesses.  Let us embrace our calling as Gospelers – bearers of the Good News, igniting hearts with the transformative power of Christ’s love. For what greater purpose could there be than to proclaim the message of salvation, to nurture and disciple souls, and to eagerly anticipate the return of our Savior?  Preach, teach, exhort, evangelize, encourage, prophesy, post godly content on your social media pages, etc. Now is not the me to stop talking but a me to get louder. Just speak – Gospeler, for in your voice, echoes the symphony of redemption, inviting all to partake in the boundless grace of our Lord. Selah!
