Light! Light!! Light!!!

I’m sure you’ve heard this word over a million times now, and you’re thinking that you probably know so much about this word “Light” But Hey, what if i told you that there are a lot of things about light that you don’t know yet. Now let’s shed some light…. ON LIGHT!!! As we all know light connotes an illumination or a source that is shiny / bright. The bible on so many occasions describes light as that which makes manifest, meaning that when light comes nothing hides again!! (The glory is revealed in the presence of light.) The bible in 1 Timothy2: 4 makes us to understand that God’s first desire when it comes to priority is that ‘all men be saved and when

they are saved, they don’t just stop there, they also come to the knowledge of the truth’ this requires light.

As we’ve seen, light reveals. So for you to come to the knowledge of the truth, you need light which will reveal that particular thing about the truth that you want to know. It is also very important to note that our possibilities in Christendom is based on the degree and the dimension of light that we access. Jesus speaking in Luke 15: 8. (The parable of the lost coin) gave an illustration; “Suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Does she not light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? and when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbours together for them to rejoice with her”

Such that whenever ones live is lost, God’s first desire and recommended solution is that….. that person has access to light. 1 Timothy 2: 4… It is so because, God is light in whom there’s no darkness at all (Meaning… without that light, we have lost our relationship with God) And he wants all those who are lost to find him first before any other thing and when you’ve had that encounter with him, you begin to manifest that light too.

We are God’s children and we ought to shine forth that light for men to see our good deeds and glorify our father in heaven (Matthew 5: 16)

The Bible calls us living epistles, In other words…Books that are alive, that men can learn about God by studying our lives. Such that when they see us, they see Jesus through us who is the light in us.

There is an ordination upon every believer that our lives would become a manifestation of the Glory of God.
