9. Honestly I really wish I knew about the continuous stress med school comes with especially the fact it suddenly begins to take a huge part of your Life that you get
to have little or no time for yourself or family. O.A, BATCH O
10. I wish I knew how much I’d be tested – physically, mentally, emotionally… Can’t emphasize this enough. Work hard, but rest hard as well. If you don’t take breaks, your body will take them for you and it might not
be as you’d like.

12. There’s a lot actually but I’ll start here. I wish I knew how much of my life it would take from me. I love being home with my family, hanging out with my friends and just existing without academic pressure, but I don’t even get the chance to do that for up to a month in a year and it’s sad. I also wish I knew what med school actually entailed, because before getting in, all you’ll hear is that it’s not easy and you’ll have to read. While that’s true, that does not even scratch the surface of what med school is. Well, in truth, some things are better experienced than told. One thing I’m glad
I knew and still know from the jump is that I have Jesus, and He really is all I’ll ever need. C.O, BATCH O
13. I wish I knew it was this demanding so I’d prepare my mind towards it. J.E, BATCH P
14. That as the years go by your zeal may decrease, and it is truly a long journey. Having that at the back of one’s mind will help to have things in place to keep one going. Medicine is a rigorous course, it truly tests you in every aspect of life not just academically.
