THIS IS YOUR WIN

While jogging in the early hours of the day, I began to feel fatigued and a sharp pain shot through my leg, causing me to pause for a break. Suddenly, an elderly man speedily passed me, deeply immersed in his exercise regimen. In that instant, I questioned myself, if someone much older than me can continue running, what right do I have to stop? Little did that man realize that his mere presence set alight a fire within me, urging me to surpass my limits.

Sometimes, all it takes to inspire someone is for you to keep moving forward despite the odds, keep fighting through your pain, and refuse to give up when you fall. Show up daily for lectures even when it feels like torture, and study with diligence despite the inconvenience. For them to see you continue loving and caring for people with the fragments of your broken heart. Sometimes, it is in the little deeds and small acts of kindness. A bold smile, a warm hug, a kind word, a short prayer, a useful material, and a thoughtful gift, might be all you need to bring strength and sunshine to a tired soul. I understand that the times are tough, and medical training can be rough. But there is too much at stake for you to quit. If you fail, the hope of an entire village may be lost. If you give up, a community may never know the face of excellence. And If you miss it, a generation might struggle to rise. You have come too far to give up now. Rise, my friend. Shake off the dust, wipe away the tears, gather your strength, and keep pressing on. We can not wait to see you win.
