TOP 5 SECRETS TO LIVING AS LIGHT

Living in this world and making a global impact requires us, as believers, to shine as lights. Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:1, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

5 secrets to living as light in today’s world.

1. The fear of God –There’s no building without a foundation; a building is only as strong as its foundation. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom and the foundation for shining as light in a dark world. You cannot say you are born again if you don’t regard God and his agenda or even humanity.

2. Knowledge – Ignorance kills; ignorance retards; it can make a believer stagnant in life and destiny in today’s world. Knowledge is power, so go for knowledge. Study to show yourself approved. How did Daniel command generational results and impact? Cause he was so vast and knowledgeable. Would you reduce your excessive materialistic behavior to resort to buying information? Prov 23:23.

3. Influence – People of influence control the world. It was the influence of Joseph that helped his family come down to Egypt. After his death, Israel was kept in bondage. Why? No man of influence could rise to the occasion of stopping it. Desire to be at the top; desire to be influential; God needs people that will change the affairs of things in this diverse strata of human society.

4. Value and Prowess – A man’s gift makes room for him among great men. Be valuable, learn to manifest your skills, talents, and potentials excellently and the world will look for you.

5. Wealth and Abundance – Wisdom is better than strength; nevertheless the poor man’s wisdom is despised and his words are not heard (Eccle9:15-16). There are many things you cannot do being poor; it takes money to pay school fees, rent, hospital bills, etc. Don’t take the issue of money lightly, money is not bad, only the love of money. Learn the secrets to wealth creation, and don’t embrace poverty in the name of religion. God wants us to prosper and do well.
