WHEN?

A common question we are challenged to answer as sisters is ‘When?’  …When am I going to find the right man? …When will I be ripe enough for a relationship? …When will I enter into a relationship? …When will I get engaged?  …When will I get married?  These questions though may sound and look simple to certain individuals, they are questions that bring with them burdens of worry, anxiety, and uncertainty.  In the heart of these questions lies a common factor, Waiting. We wait for the right partner, we wait for the right relationship, we wait for the right time to take the next step maritally, etc.  Waiting, however, comes with many responsibilities and an attribute of impatience as we look forward to the next event and happenstance. A common mistake made by most individuals during this waiting season is waiting without purpose/an engagement.  engagement. We must change our mindset from seeing the period of waiting as a season of idleness or anticipation of the next big thing to seeing it as a period of building, intentionality, purpose finding, fulfillment, and service.  It is the time to serve, the time to work on oneself, the time to learn, the time to pray into the future, the time to set life goals while working towards achieving them, the time to invest heavily into our relationship with GOD, the time to heal from past hurts and the time to deal with the past while preparing for that glorious future.  So dear sister, while waiting, do what waiters do, SERVE! Arise and start maximizing this waiting season.
