Has the Lord not spoken?

Most times, we get to a point in our lives where it all doesn’t look like the “big” picture we’ve once received. And sometimes, when we need a word from the LORD, we inquire again of the Lord and get a reply, but on encountering the storms of life, we falter and forget the word initially spoken by Him and then say, “LORD, do you not care if we perish?”. The turbulent storm would inevitably shake our stance in God’s perfect will but with Him as our anchor, we’re immovable and unshakable and certain that the storms would be stilled by His “peace be still” That’s why the Psalmist said,  “Even though I walk through the [sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort and console me.”‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ These seasons are inevitable in man’s life, but we are fully assured by His track record, as seen in Numbers 23:19, that “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken and will He not make it good and fulfill it?”‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ However, the knowledge and consciousness of this, trying to hold on to it by our human nature would be futile.  Therefore, let’s run with the wisdom given unto us in Habakkuk 2:2-3 where we were implored to “Write down the vision, make it plain on the tablets,” (why?) “so that the reader may run with it.”  Furthermore, it’s stated that “For the vision is yet for an appointed time. It hastens to the end and will not fail. If it should be slow in coming, wait for it, for it will surely come—it will not delay.” Even though, we might have gotten a vision from God which is certain and would surely come, there’s a tendency for it to be slow in coming.  In such cases, the Bible tells us to wait for it, it’s in the place of waiting we receive strength and are sustained in Him (According to Isaiah 40:29-31) and just as seen in the scriptures, once has He spoken but for us to hear twice, there must be an active engagement with the word to meditate therein such as to gain the efficient capacity to walk in the manifestation of the word in its appointed time.  So, regardless of what you’re going through, again I’d ask, “Has The Lord Not Spoken.?” May the Lord grant us understanding and help us to divinely align with His will and words for us, Amen. #2Corinthians3:18Transformation #I’m committed to becoming who God saw when He formed me in the womb
