Man is a SOCIAL BEING

Man is a social being as we all know, but the life of a medical student is one very unique and demands a lot from the student or doctor in training and many sacrifice their social life in its entirety so as to be more effective in producing greater Vr academic results.  Initially it’s wonderful, because it seems like a decision birthed from one very focused and with great self-discipline, but as I earlier said Man is a social being and can never have a fulfilled and satisfying life if not active in these relationships with one another.  An excellent medical student is not necessarily one with parallel A’s but is completely cut off from the world at large. Through my few years in medical school, I have seen several medical students with different levels of socialization.  There are many Christian medical students who don’t work in church, participate in any role or position in their campus fellowship and some don’t even attend physical meetings, they attend online meetings in quote from their rooms or listen to a podcast in the name of time management some completely stopped going to church.  I have realized one’s perspective of life can be very influencing, I believe the whole life of a medical student has been painted a wrong picture for a long while, so many seem to look unserious and undisciplined when involved in Sports, Politics, Religion, Business, etc. in medical school. Socialization can be likened to a micronutrient. It’s not needed in large quantities but its deficiency will definitely cause a diseased state. Many became very frustrated after graduating and realized the whole journey was beyond a paper MBBS CERTIFICATE.  —  When they look at their colleagues with so much achieved in the same time frame, they go into depression and think the world doesn’t necessarily like them and try to be a workaholic to ease such feelings.  In all, I have sat under the sun and realized success in medical school is not necessarily to those who have wealthy parents, high intellectual prowess, those with good connection with academic giants in that institution and more, it’s about consistency in studies and good human relationship.  Every man is a door, the more we relate the more access we have to life and its entirety.
