Faith!!!! 

A force? Or a myth? 

What comes to mind when you hear the word FAITH? 

Faith wasn’t given to get things from God only. 

Faith is not merely a substance. 

The whole point of faith is not only to believe in God to get a car, pass your exams, get money or get all the provisions and luxuries of this life. While that is good, the whole essence of faith is to know 

God and live our lives by the knowledge of God we have gotten. 

Again I say, faith is not for acquiring things. 

Faith is a way of life- for the just shall live by faith. 

Faith is the knowledge of God that you have. It is knowing what God can do and what He is willing to do and letting that knowledge govern your behavior. 

Faith is a substance because it can be experienced and this means that we can transfer it from generation to generation when we talk about God’s goodness by sharing testimonies- how He showed up for us, how He provided, how He comforted, etc. 

Just like we are in medical school and we acquire knowledge through lectures, reading notes, textbooks, etc., and we go to the wards and see these things manifest and how they are managed. We are not the first to have seen them, someone else was and documented it so that those coming after can know how to prevent or manage these disease conditions better. The knowledge was transferred and it took a process which is a journey. So faith is a journey and in this journey you acquire a substance that is more precious than gold. 

Faith is given to fulfil the will of God. 

Faith helps you trust and stay on course with the One who has spoken- because by faith you know that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Through faith, we arrive at understanding the ways of God.
