Have you heard of the Institute for Excellence in Healthcare and Leadership (IfEHL)?
It is a strategic response of CMDA Nigeria to the dearth of purposeful leadership in the health sector, ultimately, to address the various evolving challenges plaquing the health sector.
It is the philosophy at IfEHL that transformation and positive change are brought about by vision-driven people who are wholly grounded and equipped. Over the last 8 years, IfEHL has been planting visions, and equipping medical and dental doctors to be transformational leaders.
The first leadership training held in 2018, and since then over 300 doctors have completed the training. Several alumni are now leading transformation in their places of engagement, proving the impact of the leadership training.
The IfEHL leadership training, Basic Course, is a 7-day intensive, practical-oriented training that lays solid foundation for life and leadership. The next cohort holds on the 23rd -30th of August 2026 at Gwagwalada, Abuja. It is open to all medical professionals at all levels of practice. Registration is still open; however, slots are limited.
