SPIRITUAL PREPARATION FOR EXAMS

Preparing for exams is not something abstract for medical students. Knowing very well that your future career might hinge on these exams prompts you to give it your best academic preparation. However, physical preparation for exams is not all that there is.

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (Hebrews 11:3) KJV Success has a component to it that is not  physical. From the bible verse above, we understand that everything in this world has its origin from the realm of the Spirit.  Success can be programmed from the realm of the Spirit, even in exams. So, if you’ve only been preparing for exams by those sleepless nights in your books, weeks and days before the exam, you’re not wrong, but there is a missing ingredient to your success equation.

There is the tarrying in prayer that is needed. There is the speaking in the Spirit that is needed. There is the aspect of covenants with God that is needed. You

need too much to go right for you to pass an exam, especially a clinical exam. You need a good examiner, you need a compliant patient and a good case. It is also in the place of prayer you ask for necessary wisdom and understanding according to James 1:5. Reading alone won’t give you this. Don’t just go there with your brains alone. Go there on the back of a chain of spiritual programming and preparation.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses:  but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. (Psalm 20:7) KJV

In going for that exam, do remember the name of the Lord, months, weeks and days prior. Of course, you only do this with a sincere heart that is fully turned to him.

As you finish that slide before going for the next, take-out time to pray, in the Spirit if you can, knowing fully well that success is birthed not just by academic effort, but by programming mysteries in the Spirit, even by the power of the most High.
