Giant shadow deep and wide, Creature with tiny steps by the wayside. I am but speck, a minuscule frame, In this earth stage, I am a nameless name. I crawl the earth, a grain of sand, Through blades of grass and foreign land. With tiny steps, I measure space, A world is seen and a hidden place. I see the giant, looming, tall, His breathe can make me fall. He crushes dreams with careless tread, and in his world, my life is dead. Yet, in this darkness, hope does reside, More like a paddling a wood against the tides. My heart is a universe of dreams. A world of purpose, of hopes and dreams. My name is ant, I carry burdens, more than my size, from the morning rush for sugar to angry wipe from man. Me, myself and us are one tiny band. The tragic of yesterday’s survival would not make us sniff in hunger. Our fight is a different song, against the world, where we belong. With unity, we face the rain and storm with unity, we face the rain and storm, A tiny army, making trails with steadfast form. Though small, our spirit’s grand, we shape our world with heart and hand. We carry burdens, beyond our size, Bloom in unity, with prizes from prices. We are the strongest in the jungle. As tiny as we are, we can bring down the king of the jungle. Our strength is stronger than the paw of a lion. If we put out our hearts to dethrone the lion, we will… Our helpless tiny fragility is strength the loudest cannot bear. Tiny drops of water make a river, single entrances of ants make a colony so let not size, define our worth, for in this world, we have our berth. Too small to shine? A foolish claim, for in our hearts, burns the brightest flame. We are the architects of our own fate, and in our struggles, we elevate. You have heard from an ant. Act!
