It is with immense pleasure that we join in congratulating Dr Onyema Ogbuagu, who played a remarkable role in the emergence of the first COVID-19 vaccine in the United States developed by pfizer.

Dr. Onyema Ogbuagu served as the School President of the Nigerian Conference of Christian Medical and Dental Students, NCCMDS (now Christian Medical and Dental Association of Nigeria CMDA – Students), University of Calabar Teaching Hospital in 2000 and subsequently as the National President in 2001.

We are proud of this feat and pray that the Lord will continue to guide him in every good work.
