The 8th cohort, named The Beloved Generation, took place at Wholeness House, Abuja, with 41 participants equipped as Christian medical professionals. They were trained with the leadership, excellence, and integrity necessary to transform the healthcare sector. Over the span of seven days, participants were exposed to a robust curriculum that integrated practical knowledge and faith-based principles, addressing key issues in leadership, healthcare systems, and medical practice in Nigeria.

EASTERN ZONE
CMDA Rivers
In Rivers State, the CMDA family demonstrated practical love by visiting its members for celebration and bereavement, offering encouragement to one another in Christ. The Rivers brethren held weekly prayer meetings virtually via Google Meet, dedicating time to thanksgiving, praise, and making requests to God.
CMDA ABIA
CMDA Abia family convened for their monthly fellowship titled Dwelling in His Presence. The event featured Dr. Godswill Uko as the guest speaker and was held at Roots Restaurant and Café, Umuahia, on November 9th, 2024.
CMDA ENUGU
In Enugu, the brethren gathered for the state’s monthly Doctors and Students Fellowship at the NOHE Conference Hall. The event featured praise and worship, ministration of the Word, updates on the secretariat project, subchapter reports, subscription drives, welfare initiatives, and activities for the upcoming health week.
CMDA CROSS River
In Cross River, the brethren gathered for the November forum at the CMDA Command Centre, UCTH. The fellowship, themed Thanksgiving, featured praises, testimonies, and special renditions. This service was held on November 21st, 2024. Additionally, the chapter partnered with RCCG Jesus Sanctuary for a medical outreach held at the church venue on the 24th.
CMDA ANAMBRA
The CMDA Anambra chapter conducted Ward Evangelism at the Male Medical Ward of NAUTH on November 27th, 2024.
CMDA IMO
CMDA Imo brethren held their monthly fellowship at the residence of Dr. Udoyang, where the program included a CME session and an exhortation delivered by Dr. Chimaroke Egekwu and Dr. Uche Ogbonna. The chapter also carried out a successful school outreach at Akwakuma Girls Secondary School, Owerri North. The outreach included a health talk, evangelism, and the presentation of gifts to the best-performing students to encourage diligence among them.
CMDA AKWAIBOM
The CMDA Akwa Ibom chapter had an eventful month celebrating its 2024 CMDA Week. The three-day event commenced on November 8th at the Hospital Chapel with a symposium themed Doctors with Heart: The Power of Empathy in Medicine. The program featured panel discussions, keynote sessions, and the welcoming of new doctors into the chapter. On November 9th, the chapter conducted Neonatal Resuscitation Training at Itu LGA PHC, Itam, and performed five free surgeries. Simultaneously, they carried out a prison outreach at the Uyo Custodian Centre. The week concluded with a Thanksgiving Service on November 10th at God’s House of Refuge, 8 Ikot Ebibo, where members praised God for His blessings on the chapter.
WESTERN ZONE
CMDA SAGAMU
CMDA Sagamu gathered every Wednesday for prayer meetings at the Children’s Auditorium, Reigning Christ Chapel, OOUTH Sagamu, fostering unity through weekly fellowship and prayer.
CMDA LUTH
CMDA LUTH chapter met regularly for virtual prayer sessions. They partnered with Deeper Life Bible Church, Ipaja, for a medical outreach, providing general medical consultations, dental care, and eye examinations at High Castle Estate, Ipaja, Lagos, on November 2nd, 2024. The also partnership with Kingdom Outreach International Ministry facilitated a rural medical outreach at Ilogbo Health Centre, Badagry. The chapter’s joint fellowship, themed The Great Physician: Our Perfect Model of Competence, Character, and Compassion, took place at the Chapel of the Healing Cross, LUTH, on November 27th, 2024. Activities included a message by Dr. Ozi Oghide, a quiz, and interactive sessions.
CMDA LASUTH
LASUTH chapter gathered at the Chapel of St. Luke the Physician for a prayer and fasting meeting, coming together to seek God’s guidance and blessings in unity. The chapter convened for its monthly meeting at the Chapel of St. Luke the Physician. The meeting featured an insightful session on the Logo Exploration.

CMDA LAUTECH chapter held its monthly meeting at the LTH Chapel. The meeting featured a Bible Study session focused on The Life of Joseph, with Dr. Amao as the facilitator. Holding on November 8th, 2024. The chapter also met for its monthly
CMDA FMC ABEOKUTA
CMDA FMCA held their last general meeting of the year, themed Heart of Thanksgiving. Evangelist Gbadebo Iyabo led the session, ushering members into God’s presence to express gratitude for His blessings throughout the year. The thanksgiving service took place at the Chapel of Grace, FMCA, on November 14th, 2024.
CMDA IDO-EKITI
In Ido Ekiti, members held a one-hour prayer meeting on November 27th, 2024. The following day, they gathered at the Hospital Chapel for a fellowship session, which included a study on Logo Exploration: The Bible, facilitated by Dr. Lele Olaoye.
CMDA OYO
To keep their fire burning, the brethren at Oyo consistently met for their online prayer meeting via Zoom, uplifting their members, the hospital, and Nigeria to the Lord.
CMDA KWARA
In Kwara, CMDA KWASUTH/HMB/MOH members met for a family prayer meeting at the Kwasuth Antenatal Clinic. The gathering was a special time of worship and prayer in God’s presence.
CMDA BENIN
In Benin, the chapter held weekly prayer meetings online via WhatsApp. They also gathered for their Doctors General Monthly Meeting at the Mental Health Seminar Room, where members enjoyed a time of fellowship. The meeting included the handing over of responsibilities by the chapter executives.
CMDA OSOGBO
In Osogbo, doctors gathered at the Hospital Chapel for fellowship, extending an invitation to medical students. The meeting featured a talk on Godly Parenting, aimed at helping attendees navigate parenting responsibilities while balancing their professional lives.
CMDA ILE-IFE
The Ile-Ife chapter convened for their November family meeting at the CMDA Secretariat, Elusiyan House, Ile-Ife. The meeting featured a talk titled My God, My Home, My Work: Raising Godly Children in Today’s World, with Isaiah 54:13 as the anchor scripture. The guest speaker, Prof. Emmanuel Olaniyi Onayemi, delivered the talk. Additionally, members gathered virtually for weekly prayer sessions via Zoom.
NORTHERN ZONE
CMDA FCT
FCT Municipal chapter held its monthly meeting at the Hospital Chapel, NHA, with the theme Balancing Family Life and Work. Dr. Nubwa Papka facilitated the session, offering valuable insights on maintaining a healthy work-life balance, particularly for healthcare professionals. The meeting took place on November 17th, 2024.
CMDA adamawa
CMDA Adamawa chapter held its monthly fellowship at the Hospital Chapel, MAUTH on November 12th, 2024. The chapter partnered with The Harvest Family Outreach for a free medical outreach held at Garaha Primary School, Hong LGA, Adamawa State. Themed: Jeremiah 30:17, the outreach provided comprehensive medical and spiritual care, including Health Talks, Surgeries (52), Basic Clinical Tests, Free Medications Medical Consultations, Spiritual Counseling and Kiddies Corner for children’s activities. Bringing healing, the message of hope, and holistic support to the local community.
CMDA BORNO
CMDA Borno chapter held its monthly meeting at Salvation Chapel, focusing on the theme “Running A Godly Practice” The session provided insights into how healthcare professionals can integrate their faith into their medical practices while maintaining a commitment to excellence and ethical standards. The meeting took place on November 17th, 2024.
CMDA PLATEAU
CMDA Plateau chapter held its monthly meeting at Faith Alive Hospital, Jos, focusing on the theme AI & Medicine: The Christian Perspective. Dr. Kenneth Egwuda facilitated the discussion, addressing critical questions surrounding the integration of artificial intelligence into medical practice, such as:
- How have technological advancements shaped our practice of medicine over the years?
- Can these advancements be viewed as timely help to improve our efficiency and effectiveness in caring for the whole man?
- Are there areas of great concern regarding its usage?
- Who or what determines the ultimate good that can come from its use?
- Does the use of artificial intelligence limit originality and foster over-dependence on outsourcing intelligence?
The meeting encouraged members to reflect on the responsible use of AI in medicine while maintaining their commitment to holistic patient care.
CMDA KANO
The CMDA Kano chapter held its monthly meeting via Google Meet, focusing on the theme Rediscovery. Dr. Didamson Pfongkazah, the CMDA Nigeria Vice President – North, served as the anchor for the session. He provided a comprehensive overview of CMDA, including its brief history, objectives, vision, mission, CAC registration, membership, leadership positions, byelaw, and publications such as the journals and magazines. The meeting took place on November 23rd, 2024.
CMDA BIDA
CMDA Niger Bida chapter held its weekly prayer meetings without fail via the chapter WhatsApp group calls. The chapter gathered at Praisefield Chapel for their monthly meeting and focused on excerpts of the 6JnC; Kingdom Invasion. The conference speaker served as the minister for the fellowship, refreshing the members on the conference session.
CMDA GOMBE
CMDA Gombe, along with students and pharmacists, held its 2024 Joint Wholeness Missions Rural Outreach with the theme Sharing Love, Shining Lights, and Healing the Nations. The outreach took place in Doho Community, Kwami LGA, Gombe State. Activities included Consultation, counseling, prayer, administration of drugs and welfare. The outreach was held on November 16th, 2024.
CMDA BENUE
CMDA Benue held its monthly breakfast meeting at the Chapel of Christ the Restorer, BSUTH. Tagged Gleanings, the meeting brought members together for fellowship, feasting, reflection, and spiritual growth. The event took place on November 2nd, 2024.

- We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty! In this month of giving, give finances but also give thanks!

- Thanksgiving is a major activity of heaven. As we enter the last week of November, let us give thanks to God for all He is to us and all He has done for us. Indeed, if we think well, we would thank well.

- Thanksgiving keeps us operating within God’s will for our lives.
- “And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.” – John 6:11
- Thanksgiving will keep us in the realm where all our needs are met with God’s abundance.
- “And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.” – Luke 22:19
- Thanksgiving will help us go through the greatest challenges of life and come out victorious! At the last supper Jesus knew his betrayal, suffering death and burial was approaching, yet He gave thanks! He saw beyond the death and burial into the resurrection and enthronement and gave thanks!
- Thanksgiving helps us to see and receive the victory ahead.
- No wonder the Apostle Paul always gave thanks. Eph1:16, Col 1:3, 1Thess 1:2.
- In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
PRAYER POINTS
- Give thanks to God for his goodness and mercy over your life, family, ministry, career, and the numerous support networks such as the church, community, the nation. Indeed, it is of the Lord’s mercy that we have not been consumed.
- Give thanks to God for His mercy over CMDA at all levels: Board of Trustees, Governing Board, Secretariat, Doctors Arm, Global Network and Students arm. It is of His mercy that we have not been consumed!
- Give thanks for the success of all CMDA programs from January till November. God has preserved our going out and coming in. He has blessed our meetings with His presence. He has provided all our needs.
- Give God thanks for successful transition of both the doctors and students leadership.
- Give thanks for wisdom, grace, mercy and peace for the new leadership at all levels.
- Let’s pray for the for the Lady doctors program with the theme: ‘striking the balance-family life, career and ministry’, coming up on 7th December, 2024 that there will be an outpouring of the ‘Deborah anointing’ upon all participants, speakers and listeners alike in Jesus name.
- Give thanks for Nigeria for God is at work and better is the end of this year 2024 than the beginning thereof in Jesus name!
