WALT

I have chosen you, but wait! I have ordained you, but wait! I have helped you, but wait! Wait! Take in my breath of life. Where are those who will: See the burning bush and still stay; See the train that fills the temple and still stay; Kill the bear and the lion and still stay? Oh, there’d still have been an Israelite- Egyptian king, there’d still have been a book called Isaiah, there would still have been a good Shepherd boy. But some men still chose to wait.  For as they waited, they became weighty. As they stayed, they became stable. The disciples served under the Lord, learnt his ways and saw his face, but he left them with a Word, “Wait.” He has called us in to send us out for Him, and bring men in and send them out for Him, till all the World Can wait on Him. For an economy exists that drives Spirit-life; An orchestra exists that ensures preservation. A system exists that empowers sons: The technology of waiting. What called man can be sent without instructions?  What called man can be sent without backing? What called man can be sent without a Word? Hey, called man, Wait! Just before you run off again, all off again or, sleep off again, Wait! Don’t leave the altar, o called. Don’t forget to add wood to the fire, o sent. Find your rest and bearing as you wait. In the place of waiting the called man is sent forth. In the place of waiting, the sent man shines forth.
