CMDA NIGERIA GLOBAL NETWORK

CMDA Nigeria Global Network held its Global General Meeting in April, during which Dr. Tobe Momah shared some insightful thoughts. Here are some excerpts from his exhortation:

Similar to the Brook/Valley of Zered (Deut. 2:13-15, Num 21:8-13), which was just 50 miles away from the Promised Land, Medicine can sometimes appear as the ultimate destination. Many individuals find themselves captivated by the wonders and intricacies of Medicine, as well as the fulfillment it brings to their careers. However, this fascination, no matter how alluring it may seem, ultimately leads to emptiness (Matthew 12:43-45).

Yet, beyond this emptiness lies the Promised Land that God intends for us. It’s a place of abundance, where we are filled and overflowing—a life that transcends mere existence and self-fulfillment. This is the life that God desires for us, one that goes beyond the accolades, achievements, and satisfaction found in earthly pursuits.

Remember, the only thing more concerning than a Christian struggling with sin is spiritually empty.

Drawing from Ephesians 5:15-18, we understand that true fulfillment requires an overflow—an abundance that can only come from continuous and unwavering devotion.
